Lifting and turning devices are used in many areas in addition to the Railway vehicle sector.
A wide variety of systems can be found in vehicle or plant production, in the defence industry, in crane production or other industrial production of large steel components. In other words, wherever workpieces need to be turned at an ergonomic height so that they can be machined from all sides. As this often involves welding work, these systems are often referred to as welding manipulators.
